Does anyone know if the yellow perch around here have worms like in Michigan?

There's 1 way to find out.

I caught some decent sized pollock 2 years ago. We kept a few and cleaning them found out they were full of worms. Brown, nasty suckers. Some fillets had more than a dozen in them. They got tossed back into the surf. BTW these are used by fast food places for their fish sandwiches. YUMMY.

From a different forum but talking about the same fish, Pollock, not cod.
I was fishing at the end of the Homer spit in June and a number of folks were catching fish that looked like cod (they had brown spots). Every single one had worms in them, but an Asian guy was keeping them, running up and down the beach collecting them as everyone was about to throw them away. I guess he didn't mind worms.

Don't know what they look like in Michigan, but the I have seen small thin red worms in yellow perch, as well as white perch, catfish and largemouth bass, especially early in the year.
