Yellow Screen????

Okay; my screen now has a yellow tint to it for no apparent reason? I was cruising the net; and POW!; yellow tint to my screen. I've tried everything I can think of; rebooting; checking color contrast, and even have a virus scan going on as I type.
Any other ideas??? Has this ever happened to any of y'all? I have 17inch flat screen if that makes a difference? Could something just be wrong with my monitor maybe? HELP!!! I'm seeing in yellow!!!

hook another monitor up...
remove and reseat video card...its a start....

I don't have another monitor And how the heck do you reset the video card?

RESEAT, remove and RESEAT...remove it from the slot and insert back into the slot....
That is RESEATING........

Sounds to me like the monitor is on the way out....

Its a brand new monitor; maybe 6 months old!!!

sorry nomoney.....never had the screen turn yellow on me. I have stared at the screen so long that I started seeing yellow spots.

Sounds like you have had a voltage drop within the monitor. I had a CRT monitor do the same before the HVPS died. If under warranty you might want to contact the manufacturer.

In some cases if your speakers are too close to your monitor the magnetic field does alter the monitors colors, even turn it a slight dull yellow. Usually its over time that it happens, not sure if it will still do it to the newer monitors, but it does happen to some of the older ones.
