Anne Arundel prosecutor out at State’s Attorney’s office after child abuse charge

Anne Arundel Assistant State’s Attorney Rashad Wright was arrested and released on child abuse and assault charges last week, and is on leave from the office pending a disposition in the matter.
Tia Lewis, spokeswoman for the prosecutor’s office for Anne Arundel, confirmed that Wright was on administrative leave and said later Wednesday that Wright was “no longer employed by the prosecutor.” She said the case would be handled by a prosecutor outside the local office. She declined to comment further on the issue, saying it was a personnel matter.

....and he has the pedophile part checked off.....

I'll be surprised if the Dems don't groom him for the presidency.
He'll have to pass the "sniff" test.

More information needed.
This doesn't appear to be a sexual abuse but a matter of extreme discipline .
Both of course are wrong. No child should be beaten but it doesn't mean all physical punishment is wrong. My kids knew what it meant when Momma got out the wooden spoon.

I am not making excuses for this man it certainly appears his act was criminal, but I will wait until I hear more before hanging him. That's what trials are for.
