Yesterday I Met The 2nd Love Of My Life...

My daughter's smile. I didn't think that it was possible to love someone as much as I love my son. Wrong. I love my daughter just as much. My heart is filled with so much joy. She woke up as a ball of joy yesterday. Full of smiles. She's getting her personality now. She is now 7 and 1/2 weeks old. She's gone from being Itty Bitty to a Chunky Monkey. She's still tiny, though. She's now 8.5 pounds.

It's hard to explain, but we can feel the same strength of love for each of our children. We hear about "favorites" and all of that, but a mother's love has no boundaries.

She is beautiful. :huggy:

Is it possible to have a favorite kid but still love them both equally? :eyebrow:

My sister always felt that I was mom's "favorite" and vice versa when we were growing up.

On occasion my oldest will say, "Mom, you let him get away with everything!" Next, he will say the same to me about her.

My job is to keep them from scratching each others eyeballs out.
