Wouldn't surprise me, judging by the trees that are now on the edge, there will be more collapses soon

but so far there's no word what caused the collapse,

Are they freaking morons??? That happens everywhere and anywhere on the Chesapeake and Potomac River on a daily basis. Good grief.

We're starting another major shoreline stabilization project on my island this coming year...but I couldn't get it in gear soon enough to save a 200 year-old oak that's perched on the edge of the cliff bank. I so wanted to save that old tree... ;-(

Welp, we now know you’re not a tree hugger.

nobody really

I need a nap
I was listening to it on the scanner. I think initially they thought a person had fallen down the cliff.
I remember there was another cliff collapse many years ago (Calvert Cliffs, I think), that took the life of a 3 year old and her dog. I'm glad nobody was there at the time of this one.

Tiger beetles are all dead now maybe they can fix the cliff.
I thought the argument was that the cliffs were type of area the Tiger Beetle would inhabit so don't mess with it. To the best of my knowledge, no beetle has ever been seen.

I had no idea that nobody had ever seen one there. I had told a friend to just go out there with a can of raid.
