 Yeah, probably out in Nevada, I don't think there are that many highways in this area where I would feel confident at that speed! Not that I would, either, since my Chevy S-10 has an electronic "governor" that shuts down fuel at 95mph. Even when I was in my 20s, the fastest I ever went was 145mph, and that's plenty fast enough! Believe me, 70-75 is good enough for me on interstates!

If it is a real photo I think the radar was out of whack. Unless of course it was picking up an aircraft flying near by.

Penn,

145, impressive. The fastest I have ever been, on ground, was 130 and that is when the front wheel of the bike started losing contact with the road. Scared the crap out of me and taught me not to tuck down with my chin between the tach and speedometer as I inadvertantly made an air foil.

 Would you believe the same thing started to happen to me out in Arizona, back in 1984, I think! Darn thing had so much horsepower, and low gears at the back end, it just kept going. If you had the cahungas to hang on the beast! But I didn't like the effect I was feeling, so I backed off the throttle. Becoming "Road Kill" wasn't high on my list of things to accomplish.
