I've become an agitated old phart recently as you may have seen. Here's one more thing and I wonder if I'm the only one that shares this thought...

Would you give a flying fig newton if the football team from Landover would pack up and getthehell outta town?? I was a good fan until about 5 years ago but now, who cares.
While I'm at it, how 'bout that team of central and south americans playing America's greatest past time???

It ain't Mom Apple pie Chevrolet and baseball now... Its birthing human, tofu with ancho, Toyota and base-e-ball! Ola!!

Same same...Was a die-hard fan of the Senators that moved to Texas, took 10 yrs to start watching the hated Os, only to dump them when they canned Davey Johnson, had season tix for the Nationals, was pissed when they let Rendon go to the Angels, then last summer's trade where they got rid of Turner...Seems like they are rudderless now. Probably haven't watched a game in over a year now.

I had been a Redskin fan since the Norm Snead days, turned into a diehard when they got Sonny. Tried to give Snyder the benefit of the doubt, but I am pretty much fed up with them. Doesn't matter if they move or not, I am not going in person to a game. Last time I went, I got 2 Club Level seats and a parking pass given to me...and still managed to spend 200 dollars. Everything was ridiculously overpriced.

I don't give a flying fig newton about any sports team and where they put their tent stakes. I did occasionally watch the O's, went to a game or 2, until MLB put all those cut-outs in the seats and added a laugh track to the televised games. Haven't watched any b-ball since.

Have you had a DNA test? We must be closely related.

It's sad to say but I don't care anymore. Long gone are the days of Sunday football for me. I lost interest in the early 2000s. Since Snyder and many other reasons, it just wasn't fun to watch anymore.

Have not been interested in American Football since Grogan retired in 1990.
Have never been interested in European Football.

Lost interest in Basketball when Havlicek retired, ending the Bill Russel era.
Lost interest in hockey when Orr retired.

Still a bit of interest in baseball, but as a fan of the game, not any team. Last player I really admired was Yaz.

Sports is not an entertainment I seek out.

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

I had been a Redskin fan .......
The telling, the writing on the wall, for that team/game/sports franchise, was when the, (hard core fan club), Hogettes disbanded/retired. If, they didn't want any part of it anymore, why would anyone else.

I gave up in them when they hired Norv Turner. They have this epic rivalry and then they hire the other sides offensive coordinator as the head coach. That pretty much tells the world you’ve just not got it anymore.
