...that by now they'd have nationwide wireless broadband. Verizon has broadband in several markets, but not in the places I need it to be. In Lincoln, NE, for example, you can only get their regular speeds - up to 80 whole kbps!! 
What seems to be the problem? Several years ago AT&T was supposed to team up with Intel and someone else to start making it happen. A Google search reveals that they have 86ed that plan.
All I want to do is go to my mother's Luddite house and still be able to get online with my laptop. Is that too much to ask?????
