"Today at school the teacher asked me what the capital of North Carolina is and I said Washington DC and she said no, you're wrong and I said you have a lumpy butt and then she started yelling at me and I pissed my pants. I never did change my pee pants. I'm sitting in my dirty pee pants right now."

So this is a reoccurring event with this chick? If the principal is that "threatening" to the child why wouldn't the mother change her school?

When are people going to stop being pansies everytime where everytime something like this happens they call the police instead of handling the situation their own. Or have a student arrected because they had a pair of nail clippers.

Sheesh, the wussifying of America continues.

Yeah, maybe they will test the liquid to make sure it was pee.

The school wimps obviously saw this as a terrorist act.

School officials dispute those claims, saying the girl has assaulted staff and uses urination as a “weapon.”

Exactly. I'd be curious what constitutes a "special ed student" in that school. Is she emotionally disturbed or mentally "challenged"? Either way, if they're not qualified to deal with these students, they should consider discontinuing their special ed programs and let professionals work with these kids.

Special education to many school systems just means ADHD. In other words, a kid who's a little hyper is placed into a special education class so they aren't in a normal classroom. That way, they don't have to worry about educating them and can say, he's "special education," so we've got an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) for him. Alot of kids these days are diagnosed ADHD so the parents and school can have them drugged up, even though they don't realize the implications of drugging them. In many cases, these kids are given pills in the morning and alot of these perscriptions cause decrease in appetite, occassional vomiting, even drowsiness.

So now, the school has the kid asleep in class rather than acting a little more hyper than they would like.

So now that he's drugged up, we can take PE off his IEP. Even though, in reality, that's probably all some of these kids need.

Oh, don't blame the increased hyperactivity on the sugarry soft-drinks and Kool Aid we sell. After all, you can eiother drink milk or sugarry soft drink or fruit punch. And if you've got an intolerance to milk like I've got, you haven't much an option.

I'm gonna stop now because I could go on for hours... In short, I think most of the schools have it all wrong. Special Education is something I applaud Charles County Public Schools on, they've got a system that works if a kid and a parent are willing to work with the system.

Charges Against Pants Wetting Young Girl Dropped

(AP) DANVILLE, Pa. Authorities are dropping a disorderly conduct charge against a 12-year-old special education student who they said deliberately wet her pants at school.

“It was a mistake to bring police into a case of school discipline,” Superintendent Steve Keifer said Thursday.

“I think the situation was one where the parents and school officials were frustrated, and that’s why it was done,” Keifer said. “At the same time, it was probably not a good idea.”

The girl’s mother told the Press Enterprise of Bloomsburg that the girl urinated only because she was frightened by the
principal.

The girl, whose name was withheld by the newspaper, had worked with her classmates and teachers preparing a holiday lunch at Danville Middle School on Dec. 20. The girl was later told to wash some pots and pans, her mother said.

After she refused, teachers summoned principal Kevin Duckworth, who confronted the girl. She then wet her pants.

Her mother said the girl is terrified by Duckworth and has wet herself during previous confrontations with him. She said her daughter has had disciplinary problems at the school but has never become violent.

School officials dispute those claims, saying the girl has assaulted staff and uses urination as a “weapon.”

Duckworth said the decision to call police was made in consultation with the girl’s parents, in hopes it would improve her behavior. He said it appears the mother later regretted the decision.

Police Chief Eric Gill said school officials were at “wit’s end” with the girl, and that they believe her actions were deliberate.

Montour County District Attorney Robert Buehner spoke with Keifer and Gill on Thursday and decided to drop the disorderly conduct charge.

“I think to bring a 12-year-old girl into the criminal justice system, when there are better alternatives, it makes better sense to just let the school district handle it with the child and parents,” Buehner said.

I am surprised the Mother didnt wet her pants. She is no genious either. Imagine calling the police because your child has an obvious mental problem and wets her pants.
