Is DEI racist or racism?
At what point does the feeble attempt of making things nicely nice to crossing the line towards discrimination, racist or racism? Isnt the left opposed to racism?

Something odd in the news this morning. As you saw this week, the biggest threat to people of color are the death causing skin care products for blacks only.
But on Fox 5, two women, were showcasing their product, BLACK WAX. It seemed odd to me that they demonstrated how its made while wearing latex gloves.. Then clients are supposed to apply it to face, neck, arms, etc....

I cant leave without mentioning SENATOR ALSO-BROOKS, that tax abater... Well she huffed and puffed about the Country's economy and she even presented a bill to do something. Well folks it was shoved right up her......... BTW , has she paid her defaulted taxes in Murlin and DC yet?

"DEI" has become code for race quotas and blacks only (aka "Jim Crow laws") and giving important jobs to "trans" people who aren't qualified to do them. It doesn't work as advertised. I give it zero stars.

And when the politicians and their media mouthpieces push an agenda, any number of people will try to make a buck off it. "Oh, white skin care products kill black people! Buy my sht instead!" I'm okay with that - if people are going to be stupid why not make money off them?

DEI is not much different than Affirmative action just more subtle, and includes the perverts.

If you are running a company you want to hire the best if you wish to be profitable.
It is against all common sense and business practices to be told what you must hire to be eligible for contracts or business dealings.

DEI will never die. It may be slowed down for a while, but when a certain demographic starts crying it will be back.

Government approved discrimination is still discrimination. They have to dress it up and give it a pleasant sounding name.

The government can hire all the unqualified people it wants. They will sit at desks and won't produce anything. The rest of the workers will have to pick up the slack. I have personally witnessed this working as a DOD contractor at PAX.

Any small mom & pop business in America needs to hire the best worker possible. They don't have the luxury of employing under qualified workers.

How about we go back to just giving the job to the best candidate regardless of what color they are or what special boxes they check?

Funny, we had an all-hands meeting this past week with all our co-workers nationwide and the presenter mentioned that the DEI program was kaput. One person raised a question asking if they were still able to keep their preferred pronouns in their signature block so I got another name to enter into my 'steer clear of' list. Kinda unfair on my part but folks that think that is important are, IMO, people to avoid.

kinda like that faint whiff of skunk that always precedes the creature.

It’s a good warning.

My only gripe with DEI is - we HAVE EEO. We HAVE laws against willful discrimination. We don’t need more nuanced crap to ensure that AFTER you’ve filled your quota you try to ensure they advance the same.

EEO means everyone gets to run in the race.
DEI is changing the starting point for some to give them a better chance to win. Which is stupid.
