Neil Young threatens to pull songs off Spotify over Joe Rogan: report

Neil Young, the legendary rocker, reportedly posted a letter to his management team that he wanted his music pulled from Spotify because it is providing a platform for popular podcast host Joe Rogan to spread COVID-19 vaccine misinformation.

I do not listen to Rogan's podcast BUT I'd be willing to bet Joe brings more revenue to Spotify than that pitchy, cat screeching fossil Neil Young.

I always say I would have loved for him to come on The Voice (prior to breaking out from GD where his awkward voice became signature for all ears) and see the judges faces as they listened... :lol:

Not even sure if he can force them to do it, just ask. I thought he only owned the song/lyrics rights (so he gets royalties and can re-sign new versions whenever he wants), but the mechanical rights belong to the publishers? Happy to be corrected if i'm mistaken, but in the end it doesn't matter, no one gives a rip about neil young anyways.

It's interesting that people who are so desperate for authenticity look to entertainers and politicians to provide that instead of looking around them at real people living real lives.

Well we know the KGB fomented the unrest [ no surprise ] both racial - I heard recently the KGB sent KKK and Black Nationalist literature back and forth - back to the topic I always assumed growing up the Soviets were supporting leftist campus radicals in the 1960s, because why wouldn't they - the truth leaked out after the fall of the Soviet Union in the 1990's .... as far as riling up younger doper mush heads, they were still protesting ... etc wither by paid shills or on their own

Personally I don't see this as the same as what the FBI does to justify it's existence
