Does anyone know what the damage, if any, was in 7th District? Evidently, the tornado made the DC news (heard from a friend who lives in Virginia) but I didn't see it.
Whew. I'll try it but it may be quicker to get from the Beltway to Leonardtown via LaPlata instead of down Rt. 5! Don't you think using the shoulder as a lane as least during rush hour might be a better idea than one lane? Look at bad it backs up with two lanes open!
I got this via a forwarded email. Can this possibly be true?! One lane in Hughesville, even for that short hop is bound to cause some serious delays. Anybody know if this is true?

That's it exactly. It's not that I particularly dislike Moondog (although I could not agree more that the background music sounds like doom but basically his "show" is completely non-informational) or that I particularly liked the Heather/T-bone team, it's the fact that at least those two...
I miss Heather and T-Bone. I liked hearing about what was going on in the community and hearing other points of view, however controversial. Now there's nothing like that now. I don't want drivel about this day in history and if I want all music, I'll pop in a CD.
I think it's humorous even though there's a lot of truth spoken in jest. A family joke we have is that we're so related we're our own first cousins. Of course!!! the county is full of SMIBs - it's a peninsula with two basic main roads in and out and that's in 2006 - what do you think it was...
Ah, but the campers think it's "their" lane. I'd rather err on the side of caution and get over and let them go on down the road to vent their spleen on someone else.
Absolutely my point! Why aggravate an already loose cannon by deliberately staying in "their" way in the left lane? If you move over out of the way, there's always the chance you'll pass them by further while they are in mid-conversation with the nice man in the uniform with the pretty lights...
"Campers" are what we call the folks who seem to think that it is their job to be vigilantes and enforce the speed limit by blocking the left lane - and it seems some take a perverse pleasure in doing so. Let the police take care of the speeders. Then the campers won't have to worry about...
For you campers in the left lane: It's only common courtesy to move out of the way when someone is trying to pass you. You most likely will be tailgated if you don't and you are causing the tailgating and subsequent road rage when you refuse to be polite and get out of the way.
