Tonymdfl, The T2i will do you just fine. There are cheaper ways to be sure photography is something you want to get into. Point and shoot cameras with priority and manual modes are a plenty, and easier on the wallet. If you get into serious photography, the DSLR is just a start up cost...

That's the problem. Camera just aren't plug and play. Lol. If everyone just learns where there controls are, what they are called and the basic camera terms, we can learn how to use the camera much quicker!
