Is it hard to seal it yourself? I'm thinking this is too big a DYI project for me because it's a BIG driveway and I've never done it before. Of course, that might all change after I see an estimate or two........Money is very, very tight this year.

Thanks for your input and I will definitely ask the best time to seal when I get an estimate. I'm a little worried about putting it off until spring because I have noticed a couple of places that look 'worn' and degraded. More importantly there's a nasty gouge from the front end loader...

Agreed. Very scarey. I don't believe folks will bother to learn what he wants to do, though. They'll just be voting for the picture they see posted all over the county.

IMO they are NOT a good outfit anymore. Their past reputation for good work and honest estimates is fading fast with us. We hired them about a year and a half ago and were real happy with the job they did on our house. Roof, gutters, and soffits (not sure how you spell that) were a good price...
