I had a shallow well in the '60s that had a pressure tank. It was a galvanized tank with no bladder. The pump would "short cycle" when the tank got "water logged". Then it was time to drain the tank.

I am trying to decide if I need pump -up the air bladder. Seems like if the bladder has 40 psi of air pressure it should never drop below that.

My tank label says "pre-charged 40 psi". My pressure reads 46.5 psi until I open the outside hose bib . then drops to 32 psi. Am I right in thinking it should not drop below 40 psi ?

Using the tax rates from my tax bill, I did some figuring. The State and County tax on a $3800 assessment is a little over $4 a year. This parcel is the Chesapeake Ranch Estates, so I added the $275 special taxing district fee to the annual tax. To run up a tax bill of $6579.57 would take over...

The first parcel on the current tax list has an assessment of $3,800. The "Sale Amount", which I am guessing is the tax owed, is $6,579.57. Is there any time limit for how long they will try to collect the tax? I haven't tried to figure how many years it would take to run up that tax bill.
