Interesting that you use the current partial shutdown of the government as an example.....why exactly is it shut down? Because Trump wants the money to provide a physical barrier on our border, and Democrats do not.
Democrats do not. Think about that. They, for the most part, voted FOR it with the Secure Fence Act. They rose to give standing ovations to Clinton and Obama when those two declared the porous border a problem.
But, now that Trump wants to actually have them fund a partial solution - something they've called for themselves - they're against it.
Trump is in the process of proving he will get something done the last four presidents talked about but never accomplished.
That's where I come up with this.
