NAS Patuxent River is Open on a 4 hour delayed arrival schedule for March 17th, 2014. Admin leave will be granted for the hours before the 4 hour delayed arrival. Critical employees must report to work as previously scheduled. All other employees may take unscheduled leave, telework, or leave without pay for the entire work day. Employees choosing not to use unscheduled annual leave, telework, or LWOP should report 4 hours later than their regular arrival time. Notify your supervisor of your intentions as soon as possible. Please check the NAS Pax River website and Facebook page for schedule changes to MWR services."

And another update to include Solomons:

NAS Patuxent River and NRC Solomons will operate on a 4 hour delayed opening tomorrow, Monday, March 17. All critical employees should report as scheduled.

The CDC and SAC program will open on schedule for critical employees.

Status of the Indian Head bases:

Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head EOD Technology Division
As of 2000 on Sunday, 16 March, NSWC's Indian Head and EOD Campuses are open and on time with the option for unscheduled leave/unscheduled telework. Any additional updates will be posted at 0600 on Monday, 17 March.

Statewide Liberal Leave Policy is in effect for State employees beginning 6:00 a.m., Monday, March 17th until end of day shift. Emergency essential personnel should report as scheduled. This closing and/or liberal leave information applies to principal units and independent agencies in the Executive Branch except educational units under the jurisdiction of the University of Maryland, Morgan State University, St. Mary's College of Maryland, Maryland School for the Deaf and Baltimore City Community College.
