The awesome, what we assume, blue lightning last night around 11 pm in Mechanicsville.... Amazing!!

My kids did. We are in Laurel Grove area. They thought it was awesome.

i saw the lightning also. Don't think my husband believed me when i said i saw it. One of my dogs kept freaking out, pawing at the door. Between that and the noises from the wind it took forever to calm her down.

Aww poor pup! My dog ate a path through the first six inches. He loves the snow even if he's only 5 inches from the ground
After tha, he got in my bed and hasn't moved since.. He's warm and happy!

The transformer by our farmhouse blew and we lost power around ten last night. Took me a half hour to reach the electric company to report it. The power came back on around 1:30 and we still have it. We got about 14 inches of snow. All the horses are in the barns happily munching hay. I took a picture of Suki, my pot belly pig. She didn't want to come out of her house so I put her trough up to her and she was eating in all covered with hay.

My Mastiff puppy loves the snow. Running and playing in it. But my poor doxie..........she dissapears in it.
