If Sesame Street is looking for diversity, they should have a *human* gay person, then not make a big deal out of it. S/he's a person in your neighborhood who happens to be gay.

You didn’t watch much Sesame Street apparently. They do not lack for diversity, been that way since the beginning.

Are you idiots in such denial that you didn’t already know Bert and Ernie were gay?

I always assumed they were just brothers sharing a room, I mean hell they weren't adults they couldn't possibly have lived by themselves. I saw them as the puppet version of wally and the beaver.

This was before a kid not having his own room was considered child abuse though.
