The eagles are not giving up. They seem hell bent on taking over my roosting tree. Two of them are just sitting on my pier, about 200' out. The ospreys in the roosting tree are just sitting there giving the eagles the hairy eyeball. I've never seen anything like this before...have had ospreys living here since I bought the place in '92 and the eagles would always just clear out of the entire island when the ospreys come back every March.
