Dancing Up A Storm

DoWhat merely stuck a USB cable in the side of his head, and acquired the shot of that tornado - it's what normally goes on in there anyway - and he downloaded it to this thread.

THAT is scary! :yikes:

Rassie has opted to be under my feet instead of on the bed in her room. I always take that as a bad sign.

Looking at the radar ( 7:30 pm)...we have a lot more rain on the way.
I really wish I could find a weather station that posts rainfall totals like channel 4 used to do.

I think we may get over 2 inches from this one...Friday's had over an inch here in Lusby.

Watch those roads people!...especially our early commuters!

I just looked at the radar and it doesn't look like it's going to let up any time soon. It's going to be a long night.

Issued at: 9:02 PM EDT 5/11/08, expires at: 3:00 AM EDT 5/12/08

The NWS in sterling Virginia has issued a

flood warning for: charles county in southern Maryland
Until 300 am edt
At 902 pm edt, radar indicated an area of very heavy rain over charles
county nearly stationary. Radar indicates that almost two inches of
rain has already fallen over the warned area. Another two to three inches
will be possible through 300 am edt.
A flood warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported.
Stream rises will be slow and flash flooding is not expected. However,
all interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. If flooding is observed act quickly. Move up to higher
ground to escape flood waters. Do not stay in areas subject to
flooding when water begins rising.
Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely.
Move to higher ground.
