Easiest Way to BWI?

You can fly out of Richmond almost as easy, and it isn't much farther.

I've thought about doing that, but never had the chance. With all the CRA, sequestration, cutbacks, I haven't traveled in 2 years, easy. With TSA slobbering to commit unspeakable acts on my person, I'm not sure I want to.

I have to pick our daughter up at BWI tomorrow around noon. There are several different ways to go. Which way do you prefer - up around the beltway or going 301?

I haven't driven up there in years so I forget. The GPS sometimes picks the weirdest ways to go so I thought I would ask you fine folks!
