What do you all do for Easter candy traditions, and where do you get it?
When the kids were young, a few jelly beans and a small bunny was enough. As they've gotten older, I've tried to think of something other than candy: bubbles, sidewalk chalk, etc. It's too late for this year, but it got me thinking about unique ideas for next year. Candy, yes. But maybe something different.
Brach's black jelly beans!!!!
When I was a kid, Robins eggs were always my favorite, still are today.
Brach's black jelly beans!!!! As fourth of six kids it was hard to get my fair share of the other goodies but since I was the only one that liked black jelly beans, I had the market cornered on them. I have now resorted to Jelly Belly since I can get just the black ones in quantity.
I made my parents a basket for Easter. Couple of bunnies and chicks and small choco eggs from Lindt's, some colored hard boiled eggs... they needed a bit of spring feeling.
I ate 36 Cadbury eggs.
