Foal Name Ideas

Well, many of you know that I bought an American Cream Draft mare last summer. I bought her in foal to an Iberian Warmblood in Canada. He is Andalusian x Trakehner.

Well, she's bagged up and that means I've got about 2-4 weeks until baby arrives. So, I need some name help!

Mare is named Octavia and is an Amber Champange colored American Cream Draft and dad is named Alvero, he's a greying bay grandson of Teodoro. So, the color is total crap shoot. Baby will probably mature 16.2h - 17h. Octavia had a colt by the imported Lusitano stallion, Saphiro. That colt is named Oberon which is also the name of the king of the fairies in Shakespeare's A Midsummer's Night's Dream.

So....any ideas?

Godzilla (yes...this is a filly!)

I was thinking Titania for a filly too, since she's Queen of the fairies. I really like Theseus, Othello, Prospero and Orlando. Though I have a friend with an upper level dressage horse named Orlando, would I be copying?

I like Titania, i just sat here thinking what WAS the name of that fairy and it came to me. i forgot peaseblossom and mustardseed, but they aren't quite as...elegant.

orlando - i bet there are many of those, but its such a cool name. i kind of lke lysander too. i knew a GP jumper with that name.
i bet the little (or big haha) baby will let you know his or her name in due time i will have to come see the baby!
