I've been on this forum since the mid-nineties - that's always been the case.

Every bit as annoying is when you ask for something - or invite people - and they post that they can't help you or won't be able to make it.

I ended up paying myself for a baker’s dozen behind the dumpsters near Panera. To be fair they were a bit over priced.
