No, I can't say that. But leave it to the only people who still wear white outfits post-disco era to be impressed by animal balls and shiny things.

That was an impressive Navy touchdown!

One day, at the Academy, we had a really bad smowstorm and the whole area was shut down..
I was up at the hospital and heard a staff person ask why they could not use the Middies to shovel out the hospital.....and he went on to say that all the Middles were...were college kids in sailor suits....thought the Lt. was gonna blow his top!!!
Needless to say, the staff found shovels and did thier own shoveling....

Oh well.......Back to the Game!!

NAVY BLUE AND GOLD

Lyrics by CDR Roy DeS. Horn, USN (Ret)
Music by J.W. Crosley

Now colleges from sea to sea
May sing of colors true,
But who has better right then we
To hoist a symbol hue?
For sailors brave in battle fair
Since fighting days of old,
Have proved a sailor's right to wear
The Navy Blue and Gold.

So hoist our colors, hoist them high,
And vow allegiance true,
So long as sunset gilds the sky
Above the ocean blue,
Unlowered shall those colors be
Whatever fate they meet,
So glorious in victory,
Triumphant in defeat.

Four years together by the Bay
Where Severn joins the tide,
Then by the Service called away,
We've scattered far and wide;
But still when two or three shall meet,
And old tales be retold,
From low to highest in the Fleet
Will pledge the Blue and Gold.

The Alma Mater
by P. S. Reinecke, USMA 1911
"Hail, Alma Mater dear,
To us be ever near,
Help us thy motto bear
Through all the years.
Let duty be well performed,
Honor be e'er untarned,
Country be ever armed,
West Point, by thee."

"Guide us, thy sons, aright,
Teach us by day, by night,
To keep thine honor bright,
For thee to fight.
When we depart from thee,
Serving on land or sea,
May we still loyal be,
West Point, to thee."

"And when our work is done,
Our course on earth is run,
May it be said, 'Well Done;
Be Thou At Peace.'
E'er may that line of gray
Increase from day to day,
Live, serve, and die, we pray,
West Point, for thee."

Did you see the VMI cadet tackle the Navy flag bearer in the end zone? That was :roflmao:

Actually pre-game - the Navy and Army parchutists and the flyovers were awesome! The Navy guys were whipping around in the wind - I thought they were going to die - they got dragged all over. The Army guys glided in and landed on spot. Pretty amazing stuff. And whoever writes the Army shout-out commercials needs to be drawn and quartered. The Navy ones were awesome though.
