Alirght now you all, I am serious, and apparently it was out there, the person that started this thread saw it too! I dont know where she is located, but I gave my location.

I was talking on my cell, and I told my friend, I think I just saw a falling star!!!!!

No pills, no drinks involved (at least I dont think so).

You guys are just jealous!

I am in located in Waldorf. I have seen shooting stars but nothing like that! I just cant get over it! It seemed VERY close!

Dont you guys listen to the news, It was the discovery landing and they said it would occur @11:30-12 on thursday and could be seen on the east coast.

I saw it. It actually lit up the sky a bit.

BTW, it was not a comet. It was a meteor.
Alrighty, Jody. :lmao:

Well it came out of the sky landed just a little south of Moline
Jody fell out of his tractor couldn't b'lieve what he seen
Laid on the ground and shakin' fearin' for his life
Then he ran all the way to town screamin' "It came out of the sky!"

Well a crowd gathered round and a scientist said it was Martians
Spiro came to make a speech about raisin' the Mars tax
The Vatican said it was the Lord to come
Hollywood rushed out an epic film
And Ronnie the Prophet he said it was a communist plot

Well the newspapers came and made Jody a national hero
Walter and Eric said they'd put him on in their TV show
The White House said put the thing in the blue room
The Vatican said no it belongs in Rome
But Jody said it's mine and you can have it for seventeen million

Well it came out of the sky landed just a little south of Moline
Jody fell out of his tractor couldn't b'lieve what he seen
Laid on the ground and shakin' fearin' for his life
Then he ran all the way to town screamin' "It came out of the sky!"

meteoroid: (astronomy) any of the small solid extraterrestrial bodies that hits the earth's atmosphere

Sounds good to me!!...Now does that mean that is a comet did hit the atmosphere it would then be considered a meteor?
