Just south of La Plata. Who is familiar with their meat and sausage products? I'm not butchering hogs any more and am looking for a place to buy scrapple, sausage, chops, etc that are as good as what we did.[/QUOTE
Can't compare to your products but Hancock's are great. So is Hole in The Wall Farm.

I get mine processed through Chuck's in Bryans Road and love his hot mix. What about Friendly Hall Farm, 39010 Lyon Lane, Mechanicsville, MD 20659 (301) 884-5846 or Loretta's 30385 Three Notch Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659 301-884-4600?

I don't want to order any before I can try it out. I saw that the Hancock farms is open on Saturday's for direct retail sales....not sure who else is, but certainly open to all suggestions from anyone who has actually tried the product(s).
Loretta's is closer to you and they have a regular store front. I didn't care for their hot Italian sausage but did like the pepper bacon.

I buy meat from Hole in the Woods farm and I've been extremely happy with every purchase. I buy chicken and beef on a regular basis. Their bacon is delicious and so are their sausages.
