I was on a budget plan last year and I was paying $110 a month. When it came time to sign this year they wanted close to $255 a month and I told them to stick it.
I had 1/2 tank at that time (late August/early September) and managed to get by until mid November when I had 1/8 of a tank. By that time the price of oil had come down to $284.9 per gallon and I called and ordered 150 gallons. I had a credit from the previous year and used that towards the total.
With the price now down in the $2.60 range, I'm so glad I told them to STICK IT!
