I just got in from NY. As I was driving thru Dunkirk/Huntingtown, it came down so hard that I could not see the lights of the vehicle in front of me. Road speed slowed to about 30 mph.
Oh, and to the State Trooper in the unmarked car traveling SB on 4 towards Prince Fredrick thru that same storm, your front right headlight is out ...

I was coming through Waldorf when it went through. Stopped at a store and the lights went out! 
Luckily, they came right back on, and other than a torrential downpour with lots of flashing lights and big noise, it was really nothing!! 
I think I followed it home though! At least it seemed to be enough ahead of me that I wasn't in any more of the bad stuff.

The thought did cross my mind for about a nano second!!!
If they get wet, you can always cut a hole in the side and use a leaf blower to dry it out. I heard it works GREAT.
I do wonder if
