My understanding of most college campuses is that they don't allow non-students to come around, let alone mass in common areas. So I'm not sure why they're allowing all these paid actors to come in and wreck the campus.

Nope. The closest I got to hippies is babysitters who ironed their hair and drew peace symbols on their jeans.

I mean, I "remember" it in retrospect but I was too young to have had that be part of my awareness.
