Dont Like ADAMS ribs..

I dont care for ADAMS ribs much.. The rib flavor is good, but the meat is very pale and the texture of the meat is mushy.. Almost like the meat was boiled instead of made in a pit.. Now that i think of it i dont rember seeing any smoke coming from that joint..

Thats because they arent cooked in a pit. I worked at the Edgewater Adam's location (and later the one in Chesapeake Beach) about eighteen years ago. Back then, there were a few people there early in the morning preparing the ribs (cooking them) for hours. During business hours, the cooks simply put them on the grille for a little while and sent them out. Personally, I like them quite a bit although i have never had any "real" bbq'd ribs.
