Kristi Noem's book came out recently and she claimed to have met Kim Jong Un and stared him down. Despite writing about the meeting in her book and saying it while recording the Audiobook she now refuses to say whether the meeting happened or not.

Nate Burleson: That specific meeting didn’t happen?

Noem: I’m saying that I’m not talking about that meeting. I’m not talking about my meetings with world leaders.

Burleson: But you do talk about meetings with world leaders.

Noem: There are some that are in the book, and then there’s some that’s not in the book.

Burleson: But why are there two specific mentions of meeting Kim Jong-un and talking about him, and a specific memory: “I’m sure he underestimated me, having no clue about my experience staring down little tyrants.” Did you tell your ghostwriter to write them?

Noem: I specifically have worked on policy for over 30 years, and over that time I have traveled around the world and I have met with leaders around the world. And that anecdote, I’ve asked them to change the content and it will be removed.

Burleson: It’s a simple question! Did you or did you not meet with Kim Jong-un?

Noem: That’s the answer that I have for you, is that I’m, it will be adjusted. And as soon as I became aware of it, that content was removed.

How many time did Killary Clinton lie

I'm sorry to say folks but denying this or pointing out the two wrongs make a right is just wrong. She lied. She knew she was lying. Somehow God knows how she expected not to get caught and she was. At least Joe's got the excuse of dementia when he talks about his uncle being eaten by cannibals.

She didn't deny it last night on Jesse Watters either. I don't care about the dog story, but I can't understand how she secretly spoke to KJU at the DMZ.

"You mean, like, with a cloth?"

I just generally assumed that when she spoke, she was lying. Like whom she was named for, being a Yankees fan, not knowing the location of the missing Rose law firm records, somehow oblivious to her husband's infidelities (as in, Making History where she describes her shock at learning from Bill the Monica story was true) - every time she speaks openly, it's a carefully worded fiction intended to elicit a specific response.

It's also been my opinion when her staff or employees lie, they've probably done so to give her some kind of plausible deniability - by doing so at her direct intervention.

I've come to realize what all of us know - politicians lie. MOSTLY they equivocate, exaggerate and distort truths, because the best lies are wrapped in the truth. It's sometimes a bit of a relief when they just say what they think - oddly enough, I'm beginning to like Fetterman a little more, although I'm still not sure a cargo shorts/hoodie-wearing Senator with no experience is the best PA can get.

While I'm reading and hearing more about the dog - the leaders story (the one with Kim, and the one referencing Macron) is beginning to sound like Joe in '88, where he made tons of very dubious and verifiable claims - and was the first to bow out of the 88 Dem nomination.

Makes me wonder. Fact is, she's been an able governor, and most of the time, my sentiment about bosses in my organization has been "I don't care if all the employees say you're a lying SOB - what I need to know is, how good are you at your job. Because we're not going to be friends, but my livelihood depends on you being good at your job". That's how I USUALLY feel about elected leadership.

I guess the - egregiousness, if that's a word - of the lying is relevant. With Joe, it seems an indication of a very loose grasp on reality. With Hillary, it was done with artistry and cunning. With Trump, it's locker room bragging.

They all lie. Which lies are important?
