The Stimulus hasn't been given a chance to work yet. I don't like it but - what if it actually does work? What then?

The "stimulus" will not show any signs of working for at LEAST 18 months.

I haven't heard a whole lot about all these "shovel-ready" jobs lately but has anyone told his excellency that construction projects eventually get completed. Then what?

You didn't hear the commanders on the ground or the operators saying that the surge was not going to work did you? You wanna know why? Because of experience.

Link to this poll?

Republicans controlled Congress for 16 out of the last 18 years and controlled The White House for 16 out of the last 24 years.

But, they're right - it's all 100% the Democrats' fault. :sarcasm:

Economic Bailouts Poll Results | Personal Liberty Digest

The key word is current. Since the poll is only a couple weeks old most sensible people would believe that the poll was directed towards the people who are in charge now not the last 20 years. You may shift the timeline in your little world but the fact remains that the questions are about what the current regime is or isn't doing. Your dismal attempt to use sarcasm failed because it only works if you know all the facts.

If it was a bad policy, why do you support doing the same thing on a much larger scale?

We know the bailout hasn't worked.

It hasn't jumpstarted lending and the banks are already asking for more.

On the other hand, the stiumulus hasn't even been given a chance to work. If it doesn't, pitchfork time in 2012 and I've got it as strike 1. If it does, cool.

There you go again showing your lack of basic comprehension, when did the discussion of bias/non bias come into the discussion. A source is a source you and your DA buddies especially NO"N"NO cite the puffypost often enough. How can you qualify a source when you haven't graduated to a level above the liberal trash you spew from. Did Livingston post the survey and complete it 88,000 times himself to create this illusion? Think not skippy.

:killingme Still waiting for a Republican Plan.....:snooze:

They aren't in the oval office, nor do they have a majority in the House or Senate.. There will be NO Republican plan for at least the next four years. The TRUE Republican plan would be CUT taxes, CUT Captital Gains, CUT the death Tax.. give corporations tax benefits.. and STOP spending TRILLIONS of dollars a month. How many taxes can you cut, before you get to the total Obama has spent so far??

I think we should have a recall vote. The presidents office is not safe from one is it??

it's not an impeachment, but if the President is truly incompetent there has to be a way to vote him out without having to wait for 4 years.
