You mean equity markets? Like everything in life there will be those that possess a greater understanding of the subject.

Education is a life-long process. It’s never too late to start boning up on something new.

Start by looking into the many factors driving the current bull market. I’ve already primed you with some free knowledge.

People also need to realize that Trump inherited a much better economy than Obama did back in 2009. The Obama years had to get a "derailed train" back on its tracks before it even had a chance to start growing again. Trump has not had to deal with any of that.

Since November hasn't closed out yet, this chart shows stock market growth at the end of the first ten months of the Obama administration (29.3%) compared to the first ten months of the Trump administration (18.8).

Didn’t you hear Starman? The president has nothing to do with that.
It’s a shame you didn’t learn that in school.

Don’t confuse these folks with actual comparative data. It’s their kryptonite and they will hate you.

You’re right, it’s a complete coincidence that as soon as he was elected the markets started an upward trend.

It’s to bad your private school didn’t teach you not to sound like a pompous douche.

What are you talking about? The upward trend started a long time before Trump was elected. The stock market grew 148% during the Obama administration.

Given how much money Obama spent in his 8 years in office, how could the economy not come back? Not that I think we got all that much for how much he spent. He nearly created as much national debt as the other 43 president before him. But our bridges and roads are still in ####ty shape. The least he could have done was spent a bunch of it on infrastructure, instead of giving piles of money to solar companies that never intended to make a profit.

Because “the economy” is far more than government spending. I don’t even understand why government spending is included in GDP. Government spending produces nothing.
