History tend to repeat itself,
Once here the colonists did not like to pay high taxes to the King of England. They did not pay the taxes. The King of England sent an army to America. And 40,000+ men died.

Hopefully it will not happen in my or my childs lifetime.

But it will eventually repeat itself.

Randy Weaver was SET UP in a sting operation, the Gov continually LIED

1) from dates Weaver was supposed to show up for court - changed without notice to Him oir his lawyer
[which lead to the NO Show Warrant]
2) what happened when Marshall's ran into Weaver's son and dog sneaking around the property - ie who shot 1st.
3) Illegal Engagement Rules - NO ONE was prosecuted for


Waco - Koresh could have been arrested anytime in town instead the cowboys in the ATF wanted to put on their taci-cool gear and kick some doors in
show these religous wackos who the boss is
how many burned to death ?

ATF lioed about a drug lab to get a couple of Helicopters ...

FBI Lied for yrs about the types of CS Munitions used ...
until they could not cover it up any longer ... someone turned up a spent 40mm shell
then reports turned over to congress were missing the list of pyrotechnics used

Yes, and the gummint, we, paid for it. Weaver didn't get tossed into a gulag. He had his day in court and our gummint was held somewhat, if not totally, responsible.

Waco was similar only worse and McVeigh had his day of retaliation.

Point still stands that this were unique and one of, or nearly so, incidents.

He didn't get tossed in jail?
Mr Weaver was found guilty of one count, failure to appear, for which Weaver was fined $10,000 and sentenced to 18 months in prison. He was credited with time served plus an additional three months, and was then released. Kevin Harris was acquitted of all criminal charges.

Yup. It was a BS face saving charge. The Marshalls and the Justice Department fought back and forth over the thing, repeatedly, before it all went south.
