...and if you are a contractor do you still get paid for your time, or are you forced to take leave?

Nobody seems to be able to answer that question at my bldg.! Therefore, I am at work.

Sorry if this was already addressed. The way I have always heard it is that contractors have their own off-base facilities that they can use, so while they aren't authorized to be at Pax, they should still be doing whatever work they can through telework/offbase work. If they don't maintain any office off base, and are specifically not allowed to telework, then they should petition their management for reimbursement. They should probably also talk with their contract COR because I have never seen a services contract that didn't charge the government for the overhead costs associated with the employees working at their corporate office spaces.
