Hence, why I prefaced part of my comment with - "I might be wrong" and ended that part of the comment with, "I'm not sure this is always the case."

Sorry, wasn't trying to pick on you. Just replied to your comment because it did reference the argument that big game hunting is beneficial, which some people state as a hard/true fact, when it is marginal at best.
