Either confiscate all guns everywhere, with the penalty for being found with any gun being immediate execution or incarceration. Or allow everyone to carry guns wherever they go. One requires an extensive rewrite of the Constitution, one does not.

Thing is, *tolerance* is the ability to be accommodating to those who do disagree with you. If you're "tolerant", you understand that people in a free country allow others to voice opinions that make your blood boil - and you are ok with that.
You don't have to agree with it, but you get that in a free nation, they're allowed to say what they want.
Liberals love to boast that they're tolerant, but they are precisely NOT that - they may embrace opinions that in a former era might have been unpopular, but they won't permit *anything* they disagree with, especially among their own ranks.

If the police and all government entities, including the military organizations, completely disarm, I would imagine many of us would be willing to give up our guns. Because, we know that will never happen, so we can say that.
