Old feller (RIP) that used to live here on the island had a 4' tall concrete wall built around the perimeter of his property after Isabel flooded his house so badly. He had a museum-grade baseball card collection that was destroyed in that flood (he was one of Ted Williams closest friends..but I digress). So along comes Ernesto a few years later....filled his "swimming pool" right on up and did as much or more flood damage to his house than Ernesto did. ;-(
