Saudi Arabia says will retaliate against any sanctions over Khashoggi case

Yep..there is ..the updated SNEP II LoR.

Good work, kid. You still don't get how this worked/works. There were two..maybe even three versions of that during the first go-around. The first two mixes were rejected pretty quickly by Saudi Navy...then agreement was finally reached on the one that was in place at end of 2013 when Saudis suddenly pulled the plug and walked away. There have been at least two more iterations since the Saudis returned to the table a couple years later.

But you wouldn't know all that. Because you were not there.
then it should be easy for you to post links that prove it. Right MO? :killingme

will they buy them from someone else or not MO?

They'll buy the weapons systems somewhere, regardless. Might as well be from us.

English not your first language, eh? Let me help:

1. They'll: Contraction: "They will". Indicates that "they" [The Saudis] have an action to be taken in the future. Note the word "future"...meaning "not yesterday and not today"
2. Buy: To purchase; the action to be taken in the future.

They cancelled their order with Turkey. Otherwise, please point to where I posted anything saying they DID buy vessels from another another country. I'll wait.

your entire argument is that they will, but they haven't in 5 years.
You really are special Mo

When was the last time NAVSEA and the FMS PMS shops posted every iteration of system requirements being negotiated with any foreign Navy?

Be specific.

HERE^^^ is your strawman :yay:

You were right Billy boy... the last time it was not. See, it's not that hard to admit when you are wrong about something.

Now... about those pesky questions from before

It's out there for anyone to find.

Nothing lines up with Gilligan's posts. Nothing points to Obama screwing it up. Everything points to Gilligan working on a tiny portion of a large ship in a proposal phase and they simply lost the proposal. It happens all the time in the engineering world. Gilligan thinks he's the only one who has ever worked on one.

It's so easy to provide proof to your claims (since there are "many"), but it's much easier to make things up. We all know who's got a track record of that.

LOL...because you say so, eh? Kid, you could'nt be more wrong if you tried...and you do try.

BTW..we didn't "lose" a proposal. The Navy put the entire SNEP package together. The Saudis walked away from the Navy and Barry.

And..an early reference to the beginnings of what grew larger and became the first SNEP that was ultimately canned in 2013..after numerous go-arounds to arrive at a mutually agreeable mix of vessels that included at least 10 of the VT-Halter Ambassador II class vessels.

US officials are also discussing a possible deal to upgrade Saudi Arabia's navy, which one official estimated could be worth an additional $30bn.

When Mo?

So nothing that points to obama messing up the deal and nothing about any sales.

You really need to read past the headlines Mo.
Germany's Federal Security Council, a nine-member body made up of the chancellor and several ministers whose proceedings are secret, ruled positively on a preliminary inquiry during the last government term, which was headed by Merkel's conservatives and the business-friendly Free Democrats, who have since been voted out of parliament.

Got anything recent about these supposed deals?
