I've sent out today's resumes...

Started a couple of threads to get some conversations going....

I have to run over to Walgreens or Giant to get some hair color

Planning a trip to the Skyline Drive this weekend... picking places to stop....

Gotta check my 401K this morning... maybe move some funds to something more secure....

Gotta clean house too....

So Whatcha doin' today?

Then off to take the boy to get his hair cut for job hunting and then on to get my nails done. :bigwhoop: again, :ohwell:

You should get Pixie to critique your resume.

You should get Geek to help you dye your hair.

You should get Chasey to help you plan your vacation.

You should get a hammer to the head for even thinking of moving your funds now! If you move 'em now, you will miss out on the inevitable rebound. :bonk:

Well,

Sad kind of day..Working

Going to daycare to pick up my little man

Going to Calvert Hospital to visit my mom

Going to the Funeral Home w/my Stepdad and Brother

Going back to the hospital.

I've actually gained money in this market.... had my money in government bonds.... but I want to look for a better interest rate [hubby just got 4.5% and I'm at like 3%]

My day consists of
--laundry this morning
--taking daughter to preschool this afternoon
--son and I go to Target to get some things
--come home for a bit
--go back out and pick daughter up
come home and start dinner/finish laundry

I will be at work untill 4:30-4:45, then go pick-up my son from my daughter's house .. ( love on my 4mth old grandson for about 30 minutes or so while I am at my daughter's house ) then Home, cook dinner, maybe do a little picking up around the house, chill out with hubby, sleep, start over again tomorrow....LOL!!!
I really do love my life!!! LOL!!!
Wish I was going to the SkyLine Drive this weekend, I have not been in years. We are doing some major cleaning up around the house this weekend, inside and out, getting ready for the up coming Holidays...

My mother is from Front Royal and as I recall, I should be able to see the home place from the first overlook.

I just set up the GPS... and when we get on the road I'll set up the route for the Skyline Drive....

I would love to see the Natural Bridge again... but I found a couple of waterfalls just a short hike off the road... they should make some beautiful photos



By the way... I am only moving money to something more secure or taking a better interest rate.... like I said... I have my money in Bond markets and they are making money.... I ONLY HAVE 4 YEARS then I'm going to part time and taking back my Social Security while I can....
