Have you heard conservatives here praising such actions? Hard to fgind examples to praise, I think, as this tactic seems to be a staple of the more left wing types. But still, even if you find examples of conservatives actling like this, loudly berating a public figure in a private setting like being out to dinner, you wont find praise for that here. And no, that congressman telling Obamam he was a liar doesnt count.

I think they should terminate her even with her "free speech" claim as an argument can be made that she broke the law. Not all speech is free it has been found under law to be assault on many occasions.

If Secretary Nielsen left the restaurant because she was in fear that staying there could result in harm to herself then by law she can claim that she was assaulted.

Simple assault is the attempt to cause serious physical harm to another individual. It also refers to causing the individual to be in fear or apprehension of an imminent battery. The crime does not involve physical contact with the victim.
