Sports/Summer Activities for kids

We're new to the area, and I'd like to sign my almost 5 year old up for a summer activity or two. (Prefer one to be teeball). I know timing wise it might be late - any suggestions?

Muckin stalls, baitin crab traps.. mowing lawns.. Buy him a tractor if you like him..

Weedin gardens..

Choppin firewood for next winter..

Washing clothes..

Ironing the same clothes..

All kinds of stuff for a young kid to do around here.
