It is,thanks. Sounds like you might be the latter type of parent. BTW,there is a post by Md cops wife or whatever her name is,about how her kid found a purse..and then everyone gives the required pat on the back..must be good parenting, etc. So why is the opposite not true? Why when they are bad aren.t we coming down on the parent? Now,if I were being argumentative and trying to be a b**tch..you know, making sniping type posts,Vrai,I might also say that I don't knwo you,or if you have kids - hope not - but if you do..is being known as the smoking hag people make you out to be on here YOUR example?

I'm wondering how old your kids are too. Only because I'm trying to estimate how long it will be until I have to lock them up.

Power with Control
Word from amognst the student body (no corroboration, sorry, so take it as you will ) is that this was not an administration action, but instead an uncle who made the boy walk from some unspecified distance away, and escorted him in a vehicle and I presume watched over him while he was out there.

Again, this is rumour, I repeat, NOT verified facts, this could be some, all, or none of the facts. Just whats reported by one student as what was being said in school about the incident.

rack... I was trying to say that... just got confirmation from a teacher at spring ridge that it was because he got kicked off the bus, was none of the parents doing at all....

I got confirmation from a teacher too. The boys uncle (adoptive parent) who has been working on straightening the boy out set him out there with that sign. Hopefully it works.

As far as I'm concerned, the line stops when physical abuse or verbal abuse is applied. Now, if the kid was hit by a car, you'd have a point.

Holding a sign saying

"I Misbehaved on Bus"

I thought this was very unprofessional an inapproriate !

Anyone elses thoughts....

Good I'm glad to see that they are finally doing something to the little trouble makers and i'm sure he wasn't out there without an adult close by.

It goes back to humiliation being the key. It doesn't harm them physically and it's not so traumatizing that the kid will be scarred for life.

But we were told that it was the school that did it and that it had been verified. How can this be? Chess, care to explain?
