I'm surprised that you got burnt after 20 minutes if you already had a base tan. I go tanning 3-4 times a week at Topus which is in the Festival shopping center in Waldorf.
I NEVER use the regular beds. The UV rays are HIGH and WILL burn the crap outta ya if your a beginner. I opt for the "gold" bed. I call it the Escalade of tanning beds.

I went to Target and got some of the Banana Boat Aloe it is green gel and it spray's on. I also got some other aloe stuff that has cucumber extract's in it. As soon as I get home from work I am going to baby my skin and put everything that everyone mentioned in my bath water. (Except butter)

I turned red as soon as I put it on and looked like a red pepper after I tanned but never burned. Where I go they must have some strong bulbs. I like the beds because I get to have 20 minutes to myself for once.
Thank you everyone for your remendies. I don't care if they were repeats. That just lets me know that everyone has tried them and gotten some relief.

I use the SHO, also. I love it! Just remember it has a pretty high tingle factor which causes the redness on your skin. I always walk out on fire but I like it because the results afterwards are good.

I do use the SHO 6000. It's DA BOMB!!!!!!!
Now, about that tingle factor. I don't know whether or not it's hemp but I do know it causes an increased amount of circulation in the blood vessels. (hhmmm...as does viagra)
You can buy it in different sizes, ranging from $10 to approximately $50.

I've never had any viagra experiences. I've never had a problem with a limp rod!
Besides, if I took one I'd be going through the roof.
