Okay, that makes sense. They're raising taxes so that they'll be able to give money to people who lose their jobs because of businesses closing down because they're overtaxed.

What ever happened to the Rendezvous?

Yeah...what did happened to Rendezvous? (no I'm not a dike either, not that it makes any difference anyway)...I remember when it was Bennett's, grocery store in front, bar in back...and...I grew up in a bar and the only thing a bar owner can look forward to is become a public servant, my grandma never had time off for anything. She even stayed open on Thankgiving and Christmas so all the 'regulars' had somewhere to go. That's why we had those holidays there because my mom tended bar so the hired workers could have off!
