I'd rather have snow than rain. You know how the first snow of the year, everyone gets excited about it? Nobody does that with rain.
I've been excited about the rain after days of sunny, hot, humid days. But I love the rain.

Thundering pretty good right now, just what we need more rain.
The difference is, when it rains or snows in California, the people there know how to drive in it. Not like the D.C. area where nobody can handle a few sprinkles.
Oldest son's 2nd game of his soccer tourney was cancelled because of this last batch.2 more hours of dry would have been nice.
Kids can't play in the rain? What has happened to this world.

Depends on the type of rain. If there's thunder and lightning, they tend to have everyone off the field. Otherwise, play on! My youngest played in a downpour last Saturday but all the kids were enjoying it because it had been so hot earlier and this was their second game that day.
