Why the long wait

So as most of you know I used to live in Great Mills then moved to Ohio. In Md, I had a doctor at the Shah building. It would take weeks to get an appointment and then they rushed you thru and out in like 5 min. Never really felt like those doctors cared two poops about me. Now, how come here I can call today and have a appointment for either today or tomorrow. Ive never had to wait longer than a couple days and once I showed up 1 hour early for an app. and when I went up to the window and told them I was just in the area and didnt feel like driving home and come back, they thanked me for being early as they were slightly backed up and they got me in and out in 20 min. I was home before my app. time. So how come there, you always need 2 weeks notice.

My doctor here stays really busy, just more organized. Dont you ever get tired of that crap with the St Marys co doctors? I have seen the other side and its pretty nice. I always hated the docs there. All they care about is the old mighty dollar

Dont you all get tired of waiting weeks just to be seen and then they make you sit and wait like an hour just to go in then you sit some more locked in a tiny littlre room.

I have never, ever waited weeks to see any doctor...even specialists ...and I certainly wouldn't let them usher me in and out in 5 minutes.

Do you guys go to the shah building. And yes, it is very different here. In and out in no time. And treated well.

I'm with Bailey on this one. There are some decent doctor's offices in St. Mary's, but they are tough to find. Especially pediatricians. It's a freakin nightmare trying to get medical care around here.

I don't have this problem with my doctor. They are great about getting you in and out on time, while not rudhing you.

I switched doctor offices and found it was for the better. There is little wait time and no rush with the doctor.

I go to several doctors in the Shah practice and never have to wait. I am always seen pretty close to my appointment time and I am never given the bums rush to get me out of the office. My wife and I have both had the urgent need to see doctor and have walked in to the office with no appointment and have always been worked in very quickly.

At least you can get an appointment, I can never get one for my wife around here. They're booked, then we call back when they tell us to, and they're booked again. Must be the D.C. area demand, and maybe that she is a dependent. Gets frustrating sometimes.

Just had my every 5 year flush and plunge with Dr. N.Shah. What a wonderful cocktail with that procedure. Still...quick appointment, head of the line, no waiting.
