YET another liquor store in the LP

Thank you for that rude remark! I am far from one of those people who looks down on others. I have always been and will continue to be one of those people who, no matter where we live, will always stick my nose things that are none of my business within the community and always willing to help others even when it my assistance is not needed or wanted. My dream is to move to California where people with my views and attitude really fit in. I am just shocked that a liquor store can operate so close to a community pool and a school, and voiced my opinion, so what is wrong with that?

What could be more convenient than picking up a pizza, getting a beer next door then dashing into the CVS drug store for head ache medication before heading to a homeless camp in the nearby woods? One stop shop.

Changing your complaint now? In your original post you were crying about so many liquor selling establishments on on road, not per population. Stick to one argument please.

When you realize that you can't change this county and decide to move. You need to move to California. Judging you by the personal info you have posted here, I think you will fit in quit nicely in San Francisco.

Maybe I am thinking it has a lot to do withall the reasons most cities, counties, and states in this great country of ours have school zones designated as "smoke, drug, and alcohol-free". I have lived in a lot of different states over the last 30+ years and this is the first place I have encountered this.

You are absolutely correct. They should have never been allowed to build that place so close. I think we should go there and tear the high school down brick by brick!

Speaking of liquor stores...I am looking for any liquor store in the area that sells Private Stock. If anyone knows of a liquor store that sells it, that would be awesome.

I wasn't talking about all the bars and liquor stores, I was referring specifically to the one so close to the high school and community pool.

Well the bar was there before the pool so how dare the community build that pool so close to the bar.

Great Mills High started in 1929 so I think it's a bit older than the bar.

On a weekend when I'm kickin it with a fine bottle of wild turkey and I run out in my half drunken state, it's nice to know that I don't have to drive more than a mile or so to get another bottle.

It's when people have to drive several miles in an impaired state when it starts to get dangerous. Another thing. The liquor stores wouldn't be opening in this area if there wasn't a strong market for them.

Its not enough for the stores to be grouped so close together but by the school no less?

But, kids aren't allowed to buy liquor, right? So, being close to a school is a problem, why?
